LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR

Rodney is a licensed professional counselor who earned his degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northern State University. He has worked in residential treatment centers as well as Community Mental Health Outpatient settings. Rodney has over 20 years experience working with families, individuals, and marriage-related issues. He has specific experience working with clients dealing with trauma, depression, anxiety, and adjustment disorders.

Rodney is on staff as the Lead Pastor of New Life Fellowship Church in Aberdeen, SD. He is a Christian counselor who has a biblical framework that shapes his worldview and the guidance he gives to others. Rodney grew up in Bakersfield, CA but has lived in Aberdeen since 2002. He has been married to his wife for 22 years and has three children ages 19,17, and 15. In his free time, Rodney loves playing basketball with his two sons, attending local sporting events, playing the guitar, and hanging out with his family. He is currently supervised as he works towards his LPC-MH licensure. He is currently offering both in-office and telehealth counseling services.
