Individual Counseling
Work one-on-one with a trained clinician to address any emotional, psychological, or behavioral issues. We provide a confidential, safe, and supportive space to identify and explore thoughts, feelings, and experiences to gain insight, develop coping strategies, and promote personal growth. Your clinician may use various techniques, interventions, and faith-based practices tailed to your needs, helping to navigate challenges, improve mental well-being, and enhance overall quality of life. Some available techniques and interventions include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness and Relaxation, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and more.
Child and Adolescent Therapy
Children and adolescents are assisted with navigating issues, problems, and conflicts. The goals of child and adolescent therapy can vary depending on the individual's needs but commonly include improving emotional well-being, enhancing coping skills, addressing behavioral issues, managing stress, promoting healthy relationships, and supporting overall mental health and development. The involvement of parents or guardians can be an integral part of the therapeutic process, as they play a crucial role in the child's life and progress. Clinicians utilize age-appropriate techniques, interventions, and approaches to engage and support. The therapeutic process may involve play therapy, talk therapy, art therapy, cognitive-behavioral techniques, family and parent support and intervention, and more.
Pre-Marital/Marital Counseling
Pre-marital/marital counseling is designed to help partners address and resolve relationship issues in a supportive environment. This process focuses on improving communication, enhancing understanding, and strengthening emotional connections.
Clinicians facilitate open dialogue to identify conflicts, explore relationship dynamics, and uncover underlying emotions and needs. Common goals include rebuilding trust, resolving conflicts, improving intimacy, aligning shared values, and fostering healthier interactions. At Crossway, Biblical principles of love, grace, forgiveness, and commitment are a focus. Beneficial for couples at any stage - whether facing specific challenges or seeking to deepen their bond - this counseling provides a confidential space for collaborative growth and positive change.
Family Therapy
Family therapy is a form of counseling that focuses on improving relationships and communication within a family. It is based on the belief that the family system is an interconnected system, and issues affecting one family member can impact the entire family. Family therapy involves sessions where the clinician works with the entire family or specific family members to improve and address conflicts, improve communication patterns, improve the quality of connections, and promote healthier dynamics. The goal is to enhance empathy and understanding, promote joint problem-solving, resolve conflicts, and strengthen relationships within the family unit.
